An IV drip delivers fluid or medicine straight into a vein, over anything from twenty minutes to a couple of hours.
Dehydration after vomiting, diarrhoea or a prolonged fever
A prescribed course of IV antibiotics, continued at home
IV fluids for someone frail or elderly who is not drinking enough
Anti-nausea or pain medicine prescribed intravenously
Continuing treatment started in hospital, after discharge
Every drip we give is one a doctor has prescribed. If you have a prescription, we can act on it. If you do not, see a doctor first.
What we do not do
There is a large and growing business in Delhi selling vitamin drips, glutathione drips, immunity boosters and hangover drips. We do not offer any of them, and we will not arrange them.
They are sold on the idea that putting vitamins directly into a vein is better than eating. For a person who is not deficient, it is not - the kidneys clear the excess within hours. Meanwhile every cannula carries a real, if small, risk of infection and vein damage.
If a drip has not been prescribed for a reason, we will tell you that rather than sell you one.

Prices are for the nurse's visit and the procedure. Medicines and IV fluids are charged separately, at cost.
