Intramuscular injection
Intravenous injection
IV cannula insertion
An injection into the muscle — the most common kind, and what most prescriptions call for.
Given directly into a vein, for medicines that need to act quickly.
A cannula placed in a vein so that medicines or fluids can be given without a fresh needle each time.
From ₹500
₹600
₹500
Two intramuscular injections in the same visit — ₹600. Injectable medicines are charged separately, at cost.
If it is the first dose of a medicine you have never had before, we ask you to come to the clinic for that one. A serious reaction can begin within minutes, and that is manageable here in a way it is not in a flat.
Every dose after it can come to you. Have the first dose at the clinic, and the rest of the course is a home visit.
A nurse, not an attendant
Emergency equipment
Sharps disposal
Every visit is by a nurse qualified GNM or B.Sc Nursing.
The nurse carries an emergency kit including injectable treatment for a severe allergic reaction.
Used needles go back with the nurse in a sharps container.
